My latest gig poster for @the_mavericks is for an upcoming show in Santa Barbara, California.

This illustration is for an upcoming gig poster design for a band performing in Santa Barbara.

I decided to depict a black bear, common in the woods of that part of the Golden State, treading out onto the rocks at Big Sur roaring into the Pacific.

I was born and spent my childhood in Northern California.

Some of my fondest memories are of exploring the Sierra Nevada Mountains, enjoying the breathtaking redwoods and sequoias and falling in love with San Francisco.

This illustration will be incorporated into the design for 2025’s @lost40beer Festival of Darkness collateral.
